Kuala Lumpur trip dec 2005! :)

hello everyoneeee (:
i'm back from KL! stayed in the legend hotel. crappy rooms ): haha oh well. the drive there was so boring. haha. watched a bugs life on the car tv for the thousandth time and slept. :D yeah.

so the first day was spent mainly at KLCC. the petronas towers are super impressive :D this time wasnt the first time i've seen them la, but somehow they seemed taller than i remember them to be. heh. and the shops!! so many shops! hahaha. my mom dragged us all to vincci for shoes. she got three pairs. i saw this really really cool pair of slippers but my mom said "i want you to get pumps! not slippers!" and i was so peeved cuz the slippers were really nice. hahaha. okay i'm really digressing. so yeah. ate lunch then went to the hotel. my mom had to go off for some meeting so my dad took my bros and i to the mall which was just next to the hotel. walked around the whole mall and my dad bought a pair of bedroom slippers for RM 2.95. CHEAP! :D haha. after that bought macs for dinner... went back to the hotel and watched football (the only decent channel was ESPN) then slept.

second day! my mom went for another meeting so my dad, my brothers and i went to aquaria. it's this new place with all the fishies and stuff. like the melbourne aquarium. or underwater world. (haha i took so many pictures with my dad's camera but he hasn't sent them to me yet. sad haha. but when he does i'll just add them to my post, yea?) yup so after aquaria we went to times square! wasn't very nice la. heh (: we wanted to go to the amusment park but my dad said it was too dangerous. THE ROLLER COASTER LOOKED SO FUNKY! :D hahahaha. ate at some japanese restaurant then went to sungei wang. didn't buy much... my dad just bought his beloved korean dramas while my brothers and i stood outside the shop gaping at the WWE match that was on the tv. walked to lot 10... then went back to the hotel. my dad decided to go swimming so we all followed him. it was fun :) haha the deepest end was freaking 10 feet!! and the shallowest was... like baby-pool shallow. hoho (:

last day... SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING. haha. my mom dragged us all to KLCC again. spent practically the whole day in isetan. my mom bought so much! haha. AND SHE MADE US CARRY IT ALL FOR HER. heh (: but she paid us RM 10 to do it. haha :D i got a pair of running shoes for RM 119 only! the original price was like, RM 269 or something. haha yayyy it's pretty and white and limegreen. ;) and i got two t-shirts for CNY. and a pair of white pants. hahahaha. that's about it. my brothers got 3 sets of clothes each!!! ~!#$%^&*... and new watches. heh. well all my dad got was a t-shirt. but i still reckon the undisputed queen of shopping that day was my mom. hahaha! k after that we went to sungei wang again because my mom wanted to go and see the korean dramas as well. after that went to starhill and let me tell you the deco was absolutely fantastic. okay let's start with the toilets. the female one was decorated like some medieval toilet thing, the walls are made out of red bricks only and to operate the sinks you have to turn this huge wheel then wait a while for the water to come out. it looked like some kinda loom. sort of. (: haha then the male toilet... according to my brothers and father the sinks were cooler than the female ones because you have to pull some bamboo thing and then the water would come out. haha. i wanted them to take a picture of it but brandon was like, "wah the sinks are surrounded by all the toilets - do you expect us to take a picture of the people peeing as well?!" ... riight. (: so anyway, the christmas decorations outside were so so cool! it was all snowflake-y and white and angelic. haha. then the restaurants! omg. there were so many varieties. western, japanese, chinese, korean, indian, local and indonesian. ate at the korean one and i must say it was pretty darn good :D haha i like bibimbap. :D starhill starhill starhill... OH YEA. all the shops sold branded stuff so it was pretty boring. haha but very classy? and the lifts! it was so cool because the buttons usually say 1, 2, 3... but the ones at starhill said stuff like (wait. i forgot...) indulge, adore... or something like that. yeah.

the next morning... woke up, packed, went to the mall, bought a t-shirt, went back, put the stuff in the car, drove home. sneezed pretty much the whole way and halfway through i got my allergy.

and now i have a fever. ): oh but karen slept over last night... i felt so bad cuz i was sick but i didn't really give a damn but it got really high this morning. haha.

i guess that's pretty much it.
